Taking Turkey For Granted

The holiday season is upon us and most of us are unwrapping presents, cooking turkeys, enjoying family and friends and relaxing in what is arguably a favorite holiday to most.

But out there today are men and women who are not unwrapping presents. They won’t enjoy a turkey dinner today and while with friends, most won’t even see their families today. Those men and women are members of our military. Men and women who not only sacrifice their holidays, but would sacrifice their lives to defend a freedom most of us regularly take for granted.

Enjoy your freedom today. Consider it a gift from those committed to protecting us, our families and our country.
